Novel Drug Dev: Using Stats to Validate Drug Effects

Objective:

During my time in a neuroscience research lab, our team collaborated accross departments to design and run experiments. One of our aims was testing the efficacy of novel drugs on alcohol drinking behavior cessesion. In this experiment, that I helped design, run, collect data, and run the statistical tests for, I created a Tabeau dashboard to share our study design and results.

Project:

Data was reformated and structured for processing and display with Tableau. Calculated fields were manipulated in order to display correct SEM error bars. By clearly displaying the data with SEM and significance indicators, Anyone observing the data and charts on this dashboard can clearly flollow the study design and the drug's effect on drinking behavior.

Cycling Through Data: Actionable Insights on Rider Behavior

Objective:

As part of my Google Data Analytics Professional Certification, I completed a capstone project focused on this case study: A company sought to determine whether there were significant differences in engagement between casual riders and membership riders. The objective was to analyze the available data, understand the factors influencing casual riders' behavior, and identify actionable strategies to encourage them to transition to membership.

Project:

I combined and analyzed large datasets using Tableau, leveraging calculated columns to uncover key data trends. By identifying significant relationships within the data, I developed actionable business recommendations aimed at converting casual riders into membership riders.

From Farm to Finance: Exploring Correlations in Price Trends

Objective:

To investigate the potential correlation between the Food Price Index and the Stock Market Price Index, leveraging Tableau to visualize trends and uncover insights. The aim is to analyze the interplay between these economic indicators and provide data-driven observations that can inform financial and agricultural strategies.

Project:

This project analyzes public data from the Food & Agriculture Organization's Food Price Index and the S&P 500 adjusted close prices. The data was examined using the Spearman Correlation Coefficient to evaluate the relationship between the two indices. A P-value was calculated to statistically determine the existence and strength of any correlation.
